We are pleased to introduce our new range of Recycled Wide Neck Kegs, engineered from mechanically recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) to meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and sustainability.
Each keg features a durable rubber gasket and a tamper-evident screw lid, ensuring a leak-proof and moisture vapour-tight seal suitable for the secure storage and transport of liquids and solid materials.
Our UN-certified (1H2) wide neck kegs are produced using 50–70% post-consumer and post-industrial recycled HDPE, sourced from materials such as shampoo bottles and vegetable crates. Except for food-contact certification, these recycled kegs demonstrate identical mechanical and chemical performance characteristics to those manufactured from virgin HDPE.
By adopting recycled HDPE packaging solutions, businesses can significantly reduce their carbon footprint and support the transition to a circular materials economy. Mechanical recycling offers the lowest environmental impact among current recycling processes, requiring fewer fossil resources and generating substantially lower CO₂ emissions compared to virgin polymer production.
With only around 30% of plastics currently recycled in Europe, integrating recycled-content packaging represents a practical and impactful sustainability initiative for industrial supply chains.
Through collaboration and responsible material selection, we can collectively advance toward a more sustainable, closed-loop packaging system—one that aligns operational efficiency with environmental stewardship.
